    Checksum, backup and original file solve different problems. Checksum validates data integrity, a backup preserves controller memories and the correct original allows a controlled return to stock.

    Integrity is not calibration quality

    A valid checksum does not prove that engine targets are appropriate. Exact identification and disciplined archiving remain essential.
