    What is inside an ECU file?

    Thousands of tables, curves and constants may define driver demand, torque modelling, boost, fuelling, ignition, temperatures and protection strategies.

    Modern ECUs are model-based. A torque request passes through multiple limiters before becoming air, fuel and ignition targets. Good calibration keeps these strategies coherent.

    Versioning and traceability
