A Master tool can read, edit and write files in an open professional format. A Slave tool reads and writes files linked to its chosen Master provider. This relationship lets an automotive professional handle the vehicle locally while a specialist calibration team prepares the file remotely.
The partner’s role
The partner welcomes the customer, diagnoses the vehicle, confirms its mechanical configuration and identifies the ECU. Using the Slave tool, the partner reads the supported data and sends the request to Swaptune.
After receiving the calibrated file, the partner writes it with a stabilised power supply, performs checks and road-tests the vehicle. The partner remains the customer’s local professional and manages the physical intervention.
Swaptune’s role
Our calibration team analyses the file and request, builds the appropriate calibration and provides technical guidance. Because we focus on file work rather than running every workshop operation ourselves, we see a broader daily range of vehicles and can support partners across Europe.
More than an anonymous file service
Swaptune is a tuning brand distributed by selected independent partners. The customer can identify the brand behind the calibration, view estimated gains and pricing, and locate another Swaptune partner elsewhere in Europe. The partner benefits from a recognisable offer without having to build a calibration department alone.
